Girona might not get a chance to resign Sávio Moreira

Girona won't be given the opportunity to resign Sávio Moreira, a Manchester City prospect, was one of Girona's best players from the previous campaign. The 20-year-old, who was on loan from Troyes, led the Catalans to third place in La Liga and their first-ever Champions League qualification with an incredible nine goals and ten assists.

It was announced earlier this year that Sávio will be joining Manchester City, another team in the City Group. Girona had hoped to have the Brazilian winger return for a second season, but it appears that chance is now gone. Sávio cannot be allowed to leave Man City on loan. They want to retain him in Pep Guardiola's starting lineup for the upcoming campaign, and he may even end up being an important member in the future. Girona has suffered a great loss in losing Sávio, and they will now need to find a successor. It is yet to be seen what direction they take.
