At Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, Bayern Munich triumphed 3-0 with two goals from Luis Diaz (his first coming after just 15 seconds) and Harry Kane. Prior to the international break, Bayern had a four-point lead over the German Bundesliga table thanks to England captain Kane's 18th goal in 10 games in all competitions this season. With Diaz scoring the third-fastest goal in Bundesliga history after Serge Gnabry intercepted a careless Frankfurt ball, Bayern got off to a quick start.
After a fantastic long-range shot, Frankfurt's Jean-Matteo Bahoya appeared to have tied the score with 15 minutes remaining, but VAR disallowed the goal for a handball against Ritsu Doan in the lead-up. Kane scored his 11th league goal in six games this season with a low effort from beyond the area that went past Frankfurt goalkeeper Kaua Santos and into the bottom left corner with 27 minutes remaining.
