Infantino took selfies next to Pele's coffin

The president of FIFA, Gianni Infantino, is the target of much criticism after, on Monday, during Pelé's funeral, which took place in Vila Belmiro, in São Paulo, he was photographed taking a selfie next to the coffin of the former Brazilian international.

An image that is going viral shows the leader of world football's highest body taking a photo with his cell phone along with two other men. This was not the only selfie taken at the wake by Infantino and on social networks, a considerable list of criticisms for his lack of 'common sense' soon emerged.

According to the British newspaper 'The Times', the selfies were taken moments after the FIFA president had offered his condolences to Márcia Aoki, Pelé's widow, and son Edinho.
