Inter make new contact for Lille’s Jonathan David amidst Arsenal interest

The Canada star’s current deal runs out in the summer of 2025 and he will be available on a free transfer soon.

La Gazzetta dello Sport state that ten days ago, Inter made new contact with David’s agent Nick Mavromaras. The contact was made to understand about how much the striker’s situation has evolved and how other clubs have approached them.

For now, Inter are ready to offer €5 million per season on a five-year deal and while they can’t offer more, that offer is expected to be the highest that David has received. His current demand stands at €8 million per season and a signing-on fee of €10 million.

Because of those high demands, the likes of Arsenal and maybe Barcelona are developing doubts. As a result, the player’s future continues to remain in doubt and it will be sorted out later.
