Inter Milan is looking to strengthen the team with free transfers

Inter Milan's transfer strategy has strategically hinged on free transfers, a key tactic necessitated by financial constraints. This approach, marked by creativity in the transfer market, became particularly pronounced with the appointment of Beppe Marotta as CEO in 2018. Marotta, a seasoned football executive, brought with him a wealth of experience in capitalizing on players with expiring contracts, a strategy he honed during his influential tenure at Juventus.

Over the course of a decade at Juventus, Marotta demonstrated the efficacy of this method, achieving considerable success. This trend seamlessly transitioned to Inter, where Marotta's adeptness at identifying and securing talents with expiring contracts has persisted. Notable acquisitions like Hakan Calhanoglu, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Marcus Thuram exemplify the impact of this strategy, with all three proving pivotal for Inter in the ongoing season.
