According to sources close to the Al-Karma management, the Iraqi club has made a huge financial offer to convince Bounedjah to wear the team's jersey next season, in a deal that could bring about a qualitative leap not only for the club but for the entire Iraqi football scene.
Bounedjah is considered one of the most prominent Arab names in the last decade, having excelled strongly in Qatari and Asian leagues, and was one of the key players in Algeria's victory in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
Al-Karma, recently been promoted to the Iraqi Stars League, have shown clear intentions this season to build a strong competitive project backed by considerable financial resources.
Although the deal has not been finalized yet, the substantial financial offer made by Al-Karma's management may be enough to convince the player to embark on a new experience in Iraqi stadiums.
