Gleison Bremer's long-term injury has thrown Juventus into what they see as a defensive emergency. They have to move swiftly as a result, and in front of the January transfer window, they have added two defenders to their shopping list. The Bianconeri might use free agency to recruit an experienced defender right away as Sergio Ramos is available.
They would rather not take that route, though, and instead intend to wait until January to bolster their team. Juventus has reportedly expressed interest in two players: Jorrel Hato of Ajax and Maxence Lacroix of Crystal Palace, according to Il Bianconero. Since both defenders are under 25, Juventus has chosen to invest on young talent rather than a free agent who might not match their long-term goals because they think the players will be valuable both now and in the future.
