Juventus lost badly to Como, ending their undefeated streak

Juventus and its supporters would often enter a game with a great deal of confidence, traveling to a regional city to face a team in a stadium with a capacity on the slim end of five figures. However, the match against Como on Sunday was a bit different. After a 21-year hiatus during which they fell as low as Serie D, Como was just in their second season back in the top division. Indeed, there are just 13,602 seats available at the Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia.

Less than three and a half minutes into the match, the home team took the lead, and Juventus was never able to make a comeback. There was never a serious threat to the Como goal, despite a late surge at the conclusion of the first half. Nicolás Paz's incredible goal 11 minutes from time condemned the Bianconeri to their first loss of the year by a score of 2-0.
