Kotoko claim talks with Hearts of Oak winger Patrick Razak

Kotoko have confirmed the possibility of signing Hearts of Oak winger Patrick Razak.

Razak remains reluctant on signing a contract extension with Hearts of Oak as his current deal runs out in the new few months.

The attacker was initially said to have held secret talks with Kotoko, a reports which was denied by Hearts of Oak.

Hearts of Oak had also refused offers from several Clubs including a bumper bid from Guinean Club Horoya.

Communication Director of Kotoko Lawyer Sarfo Duku claims the 24-year-old is willing to join the Porcupine Warriors.

“Patrick Razak has rather said he is interested in playing for Kotoko. He has said it on many platforms,” he told Accra-based Peace FM.

Spokesperson for Hearts of Oak Opare Addo however denied the claims insisting his outfit are in talks with the player over a contract extension.

“We understand it. They are just playing mind games just to cause the player to lose his concentration ahead of the game. They’ve done this in the past with Mahatma Otoo and other players,” he added.

The forward joined the Rainbow Club three seasons ago from lower division side FC Utrecht.
