La Masia graduate gets attention of five La Liga clubs

There is an update on the future of Barcelona academy graduate, Oscar Mingueza. The player who has fallen out of the pecking order under Xavi Hernandez is placed on the surplus list ahead of the new season. Barca has plans to offload the player before the summer transfer window ends and the player is already ready to leave Camp Nou and explore other opportunities next season. With Barça, Mingueza was never seen as first-team material but still this has not affected his demand in La Liga as five clubs have lined up to get his signature along with two Bundesliga outfits.

The Spaniard has caught the attention of RCD Mallorca, Celta Vigo, Elche CF, Getafe, and Valencia as they hope to add the young defender to their camp. Barca has slapped a price of €5 million on the youngster this summer.
