Lazio and Napoli played out a goalless draw

Lazio and Napoli were held to a scoreless draw at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome due to the unavailability of their key attackers. The hosts' suspended players were Ciro Immobile and Mattia Zaccagni, while Napoli's lengthy list of absences featured Victor Osimhen and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, the striking partners who led them to the Serie A triumph the previous season. On a night when both teams had a chance to take a significant lead in the fight for the top four, opportunities were scarce. However, the outcome puts Lazio two points out of fourth place and Napoli four points out of the UEFA Champions League berths.

Gustav Isaksen, a winger for Lazio, was the only player to liven up the dull first half. He sent two shots over the crossbar from promising positions and had Napoli's five-man backline pay close attention when he had the ball in his possession.
