The cost of Lazio's summer acquisitions of Loum Tchaouna, Tijjani Noslin, Gaetano Castrovilli, and Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has been made public. Dele-Bashiru, a 24-year-old midfielder who originally arrived on loan with a buyout clause, is one of the four players the Biancocelesti signed last summer. However, as La Lazio Siamo Noi points out, the club has already acquired the Nigerian, as shown by the newly published half-yearly report. The Lagos native began his career at the Manchester City academy before spending 2020–2023 with Sheffield Wednesday. In his one season with Hatayspor last season, he dominated the Turkish league, which persuaded Angelo Fabiani to bring him to the Italian capital.
Despite having a rather poor start to the season, Dele-Bashiru always had the support of his head coach Marco Baroni, who never missed an occasion to highlight the midfielder's enormous potential.
