Luis Diaz push hard for Barca transfer this week

According to sources close to the player, plans to take a crucial step this week to try and unblock his transfer to the Catalan club He aims to meet with in the coming days urge them to ease their stance and open negotiations with Barca.

At present, Liverpool hold a firm position, demanding no less than 80 million euros for Diaz—a price beyond Barcelona’s current financial reach. However, the player believes his own willingness could influence the transfer fee to come down. Diaz is reportedly ready to push internally so that the deal closes closer to 60 million euros, a figure Barca considers much more feasible.

Within Barcelona’s management, Deco and the sports directors are closely monitoring every development. Their interest in Diaz is genuine and longstanding. They view him as the ideal profile to strengthen Barca’s left wing attack, bringing speed, creativity, and goal threat.
