Luka Modric has now been confirmed to be leaving Real Madrid

Real Madrid is currently making preparations for Luka Modric's exit, which has already been confirmed to occur this summer. The Croatian will probably require a successor, and several players have begun to be evaluated for this position. Enzo Fernandez, a midfielder for Chelsea, has been said to be on Real Madrid's radar in recent months. Cadena SER has now stated that they view him as Modric's potential successor. Before he made the big-money transfer to the Premier League team during the 2022 World Cup, Los Blancos had their eye on him. A few years later, they were able to eventually get him.

But given that Chelsea will make it very tough for Enzo to leave, it will not be easy for Real Madrid. And bearing this in mind, they are also considering another player – and it is another Argentina international, Exequiel Palacios.
