Madrid targeting Arsenal's Magalhaes as Militao's replacement

Eder Militao, who was replaced in Real Madrid's match against Athletic due to injury, successfully underwent surgery after suffering the same injury as Thibaut Courtois.

The Spanish giants suffered a huge blow at the start of the 2023/24 season as they lost two key players. Madrid's two stars tore their ACLs and will miss most of the season - if not all of it.

As a result, the Spanish club signed Kepa Arrizabalaga on loan from Chelsea to take the Belgian goalkeeper's place. However, they have not yet found a replacement for the Brazilian defender.

Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti is counting on Antonio Rudiger, who played as a starter against Almeria. According to the 'Daily Mail', Madrid are considering signing Arsenal centre-back Gabriel Magalhaes to replace him.

The 25-year-old is also being targeted by several Saudi Arabian clubs and his future at the Emirates Stadium is not yet assured.
