Magpies are making an effort to finalize some significant deals

In front of what seems to be a busy summer on Tyneside, Newcastle United appears to be moving quickly when it comes to hiring, both on and off the field.

Even though the transfer market might not open for a few more weeks, the Magpies are making an effort to finalize some significant deals before the domestic season ends. Tosin Adarabioyo of Fulham will be free to leave west London this summer, and Newcastle is leading the race to recruit him. A new center-back has been a top priority for Eddie Howe, since Sven Botman and Jamaal Lascelles could miss the remainder of the year. Adarabioyo represents a major coup considering rumored interest from big-name bidders and offers a tremendous boost before a key summer. Some will laugh and advise caution over Newcastle's recruitment of a player set to be a free agent over the summer.
