Majeed Ashimeru agrees deal with Swiss Super League side St. Gallen

Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru is nearing a move to Swiss Club St. Gallen.

The midfielder is reported to have reach an agreement pending a medical to complete his switch from Austrian side Red Bull Salzburg.

Ashimeru signed for Red Bull Salzburg from Ghana Premier League side WAFA.

The 20-year-old was however loaned out to fellow Austrian side Wolfsberger where he eventually caught the attention of officials of St. Gallen.

St. Gallen according to reports had been monitoring the player’s progress since his time in Ghana where he played a huge role to help WAFA finish second in the 2016/17 Ghana Premier League.

The midfielder will be joining countrymen Kassim Nuhu and Raphael Dwamena in the Swiss Super League.
