The England international had a difficult time at West Ham, but this summer, two years after his £42.5 million move from Leeds, Man City may make him available on loan once more. For the upcoming season, Everton is considering loaning Kalvin Phillips from Manchester City.
The Merseyside team is hoping that the England midfielder, who was on loan at West Ham for the second half of the previous season, will be granted permission to temporarily leave the Etihad Stadium once more for the 2024–25 season. The 28-year-old's loan stint at West Ham proved to be fruitless as he conceded a goal on his debut, made just three starts, and was dismissed during the team's loss to Nottingham Forest. In an attempt to assemble his team for the upcoming campaign, Dyche has extended new one-year contracts to veterans Ashley Young and Seamus Coleman at Everton and has now shifted his focus towards Phillips.
