Man City trounce Foxes with 6-3

The Premier League leaders went on a rollercoaster ride as per manager Pep Guardiola while facing Foxes in the fixture. Leicester City worked hard and made Cityzens sweat until they finally prevailed with 6-3 with Raheem Sterling striking twice. The Boxing Day thriller revealed that Man City needs to be more ruthless against their opponents even Sterling agrees with that.

City enjoyed a good 4-0 lead within 25 minutes of the match with Kevin De Bruyne’s score, Riyad Mahrez’s penalty shot then Ilkay Gundogan’s beautiful shot which was soon followed by another penalty kick by Sterling. Then City fell behind and conceded three goals back to back as Leicester made a comeback and needed Aymeric Laporte and Sterling’s strikes to secure the points. Reaching the halfway point in the season City is six points clear at the top with their ninth back to back.
