Man Utd willing to finally sign midfielder

The team is still struggling under Erik ten Hag, even after making big summer roster acquisitions, with players like Casemiro seeming out of depth. Man Utd made a £42.6 million summer offer to capture Ederson, the best player of Atalanta, but instead signed Manuel Ugarte from PSG. Although the Uruguayan defensive midfielder has already made his club debut, Casemiro's future is still up in the air. Manchester United is now eager to sign the 25-year-old Brazilian midfield, according to TNT Sports via Sport Witness. There are two perspectives on Ederson's possible signing by the Red Devils soon.

On the one hand, Casemiro is a backup, and the team just signed Ugarte. They don't appear to require another defensive midfielder. In the event that the Real Madrid icon decides to stay at Old Trafford after this season, it would be quite surprising.
