The six-goal thriller on Sunday saw Manchester United’s long-lost lethal form. United had drilled two goals in the first half with help from Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes, to enjoy an early two-goal lead but Leeds United caught up soon after when Red Devils conceded two goals one minute apart to Rodrigo and Raphinha.
In the first half, Leeds failed to create a lot of chances and their lackluster display frustrated the fans as well but soon after Leeds leveled up surprisingly but their glory was short-lived. Entering as a substitute Fred grabbed the third goal at 70th minute to give Man Utd their lead back and another substitute Elang got his hands on the fourth goal two minutes from time and give Red Devils the much-needed three points in their top-four chase.
