Marco Verratti out of squad against Monaco

Marco Verratti could not make it as a part of Paris Saint-Germain’s team to play against AS Monaco in Saturday’s match. On the contrary, the long awaited return of Presnel Kimpembe after his injury is now over. Verratti is out of the match as he has suffered a hip injury. The club has explained his injury as minor and therefore it is not yet clear if he will play in the Champions League match against Bayern Munich scheduled for Tuesday.

The good news for PSG is the return of Kimpembe from injury. This will be his first time featuring in the team since November. He had suffered his last setback just before the World Cup. Also, Kylian Mbappe and Lionel Messi will not be able to make it to the match, however, Achraf Hakimi is confirmed to be present on Saturday at the Stade Louis II.
