Mikel Oyarzabal, the captain of Real Sociedad, is someone Lazio boss Maurizio Sarri hopes to include in his offensive lineup.
While confirming much of the present team, the Biancocelesti have been preparing for a rather quiet market. But if Sarri were given the keys for the summer transfer window, he would spend the cash on a new attacker, and Oyarzabal would be the perfect fit. Before joining Real Sociedad at the young age of 14, the 28-year-old began his career in the academy of his local team, Eibar. He has been with the team ever since. Famously, Oyarzabal scored the goal that gave La Roja the Euro 2024 trophy at England's expense. He most recently put on a spectacular performance in the UEFA Nations League final, scoring a goal and dishing out an assist, but it was inadequate as Portugal won the championship following thrilling shoutouts.
