Paris Saint-Germain defeats AS Monaco with a clean 2-0 win with Kylian Mbappe hitting twice to reach a milestone of a century league goals at the Parc des Princes. PSG extended their lead at the top of the Ligue 1 table with a 13 point lead over Marseille. First Mbappe scored with a penalty early in the match and later at halftime, Lionel Messi set up Mbappe for his 100th goal in France's top-flight ever since he joined the Giants in 2017.
Mauricio Pochettino's squad easily won the match in a subdued atmosphere where a part of the stadium was closed. Monaco was gearing up for a leveler in the first half itself, but Guillermo Maripan squandered the opportunity before Mbappe buried his second goal in the net and they could not move past later on facing the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner and the rest of the squad on the other side.
