As of January, AC Milan faces the possibility of Rade Krunic departing as contract negotiations have reached an impasse. With Ismael Bennacer's imminent return, Milan has reevaluated and reduced the previously set summer price tag for Krunic. While initially a crucial player this season in Bennacer's absence, Krunic's recent struggles have led the club to explore alternative options.
According to Daniele Longo, Milan is now open to offers for Krunic, no longer deeming him unsellable. The initial price tag of €10-12m has been lowered. Contract renewal discussions have been underway, but progress has been slow. Krunic is seeking €3m, double his current salary, posing another hurdle in the negotiations, as Milan is inclined to offer around €2m. Recent reports suggest ongoing interest from Fenerbahce, with Milan's reduced demands increasing the likelihood of a transfer in January.
