Major League Soccer champions Atlanta United have already chosen their replacement for Tata Martino: Dutch coach Frank de Boer.
Martino was the club's first ever coach, but he departs after leading the team to glory in search of new adventures."Frank de Boer has a distinguished career as a coach and as a player", Darren Eales, the club's president said. "Therefore, we are delighted to welcome him to our club".
De Boer won four consecutive Eredivisie titles with Ajax, smashing club records, though he was then sacked by Inter and Crystal Palace.
He also gained support from the club's technical director and former US international, Carlos Bocanegra: "Frank's style of play is very important for us, his tactics include an attacking style with high intensity which identifies with our style of play", he added.
