In past weeks, Juventus has been linked to top class players such as striker Gonzalo Higuain or Hector Herrera who are on the Italian champion's shopping cart. But in order to reach the economic demands that both Porto and Napoli are demanding, according to former director Luciano Moggi, Juventus first needs to sell a top player like Paul Pogba and then think about the new players who can help out the team.
Actually, Mexican midfielder Hector Herrera has a very similar style of playing like Pogba does, plus Higuain is a world class striker who would bring the goals the 'Old Lady' is lacking. Pogba seems like he has already completed a cycle and it may be time for him to go play at another club. However, many Juventus fans are against Paul Pogba leaving the club because he is close to becoming one of the best players in the world.
Moggi told Radio Crc that: "The feeling I get is that Higuain will remain at Napoli. If I were Juventus, I'd have no doubts at all. I'd sell Pogba immediately and then straight away sign Higuain. I'd go to Porto, put Herrera in Pogba's place and nobody could tell the difference. Higuain is a far more decisive player. The chances of winning the Champions League would increase and he'd represent a substantial change."
