Musiala's recovery timeline: When Bayern can expect him back

Still, the road ahead remains a lengthy one. He'll rely on crutches and specialized orthopedic footwear for roughly six weeks to allow the bone to heal fully. With his leg unable to bear any weight yet, Musiala has begun gentle fitness routines focusing on his upper body, according to Bild.

After that six-week period, once he's off the crutches and out of the footwear, doctors will conduct a thorough examination of his foot. If everything goes smoothly, he could start with light running and functional drills, along with more intensive rehab, around mid-to-late August. A few weeks later, he might transition to outdoor training sessions.

Overall, Bayern anticipates Musiala will be sidelined for 4 to 5 months. If rehab proceeds without issues, he could return to action in November or December.

It's worth noting that last season, he played 44 matches, scoring 21 goals and providing 8 assists.
