According to the tabloid, the 25-year-old may be considered as Denzel Dumfries' successor by the Nerazzurri. Nandez is a player whose name has previously been connected to Inter.
For instance, talks were place in the summer of 2021 between Inter and Cagliari. At that period, after the Moroccan's high-profile transfer to Paris Saint-Germain, Nandez was apparently considered by Inter as a potential right flank replacement for Achraf Hakimi. But in the end, Nandez was not signed by Inter. That summer, they instead recruited Denzel Dumfries from PSV. That does not imply, however, that Inter and Nandez's relationship completely broke down. The Uruguayan's adaptability has been a major factor in the relationship between Nandez and Inter.
