Napoli and Inter both said no to Neymar

Last summer, Neymar was offered to both Inter and Napoli, but concerns over his fitness stopped any deal from happening. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and Fabrizio Romano via CalcioMercato, agent Pini Zahavi proposed the 33-year-old to both clubs as early as April and May. Inter, busy with their season’s finale and future tactical plans, viewed Neymar as an intriguing but risky option due to his recurring injuries. Napoli also backed out for the same reason, even though Antonio Conte had been informed of his availability.

As the clubs assessed how he might fit into their squads, Neymar suffered yet another muscle injury, ending any short-term possibility of a move. However, with the Brazilian expected to become a free agent in January, the story could resurface in the next transfer window.
