Napoli are closing in on the signing of goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic from Torino, agreeing to pay more than his €19 million release clause to allow for instalment payments. The Serbia international will join the Serie A champions on a permanent deal. Meanwhile, Napoli will loan striker Cyril Ngonge to Torino for one season. The Granata will pay €1 million for the loan, with an €18 million option to buy. Ngonge previously worked with Torino boss Marco Baroni at Hellas Verona.
Torino are also set to bolster their squad with the addition of goalkeeper Franco Israel from Sporting CP. The Uruguay international, formerly of Juventus, was recently linked with Napoli, as reported exclusively by Football Italia. With both sides active in the market, Serie A’s summer shuffle is well underway.
