Napoli Eye Nunez but Face Financial Hurdles

Liverpool has made it clear where they stand on Darwin Nunez's future; despite Napoli's interest, the Premier League winners are demanding a price of at least £60 million. Despite not being regarded as an automatic starter under Arne Slot, the Uruguayan international has been the focus of increasing transfer rumours this summer, and Liverpool is unwilling to approve a low-cost move. The forward is available for a move, according to club sources, but only if their asking price is satisfied.

Nunez has long been a target for Napoli, but the Merseyside team's financial demands are impeding talks. Speaking on his YouTube channel, Fabrizio Romano gave an explanation of the current situation from the standpoint of the Serie A champions. Darwin Nunez is still wanted by Napoli at the present, but they believe the transfer fee is too excessive.
