Napoli grabs the top spot once more in Serie A

Victor Osimhen stars as Napoli return to top of the table with a comfortable win over Bologna. Napoli is back to winning ways after stumbling for the first time this season with the 3-0 win over Bologna to overtake AC Milan in the Italian Serie A this season. Osimhen might not have gotten his name on the scoresheet but he played a big role in the two goals Luciano Spalletti’s side scored to win on Thursday at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.

First Fabian Ruiz put Napoli ahead with a left-footed curler from outside the box at the 18th minute, Insigne then increased Napoli’s lead with a 39th-minute shot. The Nigerian fired four shots all off target and was denied once by the keeper, the defender still played a key role in the penalty for Napoli’s third goal which Insigne converted successfully.
