Napoli have responded to a transfer offer for Scott McTominay

In a transaction worth just £25.7 million, McTominay left Manchester United for Naples less than a year ago, yet he has already established himself as a club legend. The Scotland international helped Napoli win the Italian top division, earning him the title of Serie A Most Valuable Player for the 2024–25 season.

After having a "point to prove" after leaving Old Trafford in August, McTominay finished 34 Serie A appearances with 12 goals and six assists. One team outside of Italy is interested in signing the 28-year-old midfielder after his amazing debut season with his new team. Alfredo Pedulla claims that Al-Hilal, a Saudi Pro League team, approached Napoli this summer to see if they would be persuaded to trade McTominay.  Napoli have already responded to the offer and said that no deal will be done at any price for the for their star man, under contract until June 2028.
