Recent news reports have suggested that Joe Willock, 21-year-old Arsenal midfielder, will be signing a loan deal with Newcastle United. Upon interviewing, reports have been disclosed that Mikel Arteta is all set to give Willock an opportunity in the next season. However, he might not be getting the playtime he is looking for. But Willock will have the opportunity to play for Newcastle from next season.
Arsenal officials have reportedly said that Willock is free to make his own decision and choose his loan destination for this summer. With his impressive performance, other clubs are also showing interest in the midfielder. Newcastle legend Shearer claimed a positive response towards the signing of Willow. He praised his forward driving runs, which would help them in multiple ways against teams.
