Newcastle will bid for Botman if they remain in the Premier League

The English club will return to their mission in the summer, but only if they maintain Premier League status.

Newcastle want to bring in Sven Botman, but Lille would not let him leave in January. Everything seems to indicate that a fresh bid will be made for the Dutch centreback in the summer, but this is subject to the English club remaining in the Premier League.

Botman is on Newcastle's agenda. The disappointment of not being able to sign him January has not put the Magpies off. In fact, according to 'The Athletic', the club will lauch a fresh bid to bring him to the North East this summer.

Lille, who already made it clear to Newcaste that their Dutch centreback was not for sale, will have to once again deal with the Geordie interest. However, the difference this time is that the bid will be subject to circumstance.
