The earliest reports about Neymar Junior returning to Barcelona were already circulating less than a year after he departed for Paris Saint-Germain. After stints at PSG, Al-Hilal, and now Santos, the Brazilian superstar still seems interested in rejoining the Blaugrana seven years after that in 2018. The season Lionel Messi left Barcelona, Neymar was linked to a return, and there was even some fleeting discussion of a homecoming last summer. As it stands, Neymar signed a six-month contract with his original club, Santos, after ending his contract with Al-Hilal in Saudi Arabia upon his comeback from a cruciate ligament injury.
His goal there is to regain his health, but in the summer, he will once more be a free agent, and according to Sport, agent Pini Zahavi has conveyed Neymar's want to rejoin Barcelona. Neymar would arrive for free, according to Zahavi, who has a close relationship with President Joan Laporta.
