Alphonso Davies has extended his deal with Bayern Munich to 2030, the German club announced, with the Canada captain rebuffing reported interest from Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Bayern Munich have started work on the 2025-26 season. The first objective is to renew those players whose contracts expire on 30 June.
One of them is Alphonso Davies. A thousand and one times wanted by Real Madrid, the left-back has already sealed his renewal with the Bavarian side after months of negotiations.
Davies joined Bayern Munich in January 2019 from the Vancouver Whitecaps. Since then, he has won five Bundesliga titles and the Champions League in 2020.
Several clubs have approached the Canadian full-back, notably Real Madrid, but in the end the left-back will continue to move up the wing with Bayern Munich.
