Liverpool continues to restructure its squad ahead of the start of the 2025/26 season, and that also includes the departure of some players, as has been the case with its promising youngster Tyler Morton.
The defensive midfielder played five official matches with the Reds' first team last season, three of which were as a starter, enough for Olympique Lyon to go all out for him.
Both clubs have confirmed via their social media accounts that they have reached an agreement for the transfer of the 22-year-old Englishman, who will try his luck in Ligue 1 after signing a contract until 2030 for around £15 million, although the transfer includes a 20% sell-on clause.
"Tyler Morton has completed a permanent transfer to Olympique Lyonnais. Everyone at LFC would like to wish Tyler all the very best for the future," wrote Liverpool on their X official account.
