OFFICIAL: Pjanic leaves Barca and signs for Sharjah

Pjanic has agreed to leave Barcelona to head for the United Arab Emirates where Sharjah FC await him with open arms. He is the latest player to leave Barcelona.

Everything was completed in just two days. On Monday, there were rumours Pjanic had an offer from Sharjah, who is signing for the next two seasons with the option of extending by another year.

Xavi Hernandez himself said in the build up to the Barcelona-Viktoria Plzen that the Bosnian had "decided to leave." Therefore, e decided to make a move to his new club and successfully have his medical.

At the Camp Nou, they have not put objections to his departure. It was an aim of theirs to reduce Barcelona's wage bill, despite the fact the former Juventus player was liked by Xavi in midfield.
