Brazilian star Lucas Paqueta has shown his desire to leave West Ham United during the upcoming winter transfer window in January, following the team's poor performance in the Premier League.
The newspaper explained that Aston Villa had shown interest in signing Paqueta at the end of the last summer transfer window, but West Ham's management refused to part with the 28-year-old player at that time.
Paqueta's contract with the London club extends until the summer of 2027, but the team is going through a difficult phase this season, currently sitting second to last in the Premier League table, just four points away from safety.
According to the report, West Ham's management plans to strengthen the team during the winter transfer window by signing at least a striker, a midfielder, and a defender, in an attempt to salvage the season.
