Paul Pogba, a former midfielder for Manchester United and Juventus, has signed a two-year contract with Monaco. On November 30, the 32-year-old's contract with Juventus was canceled, making him a free agent. After an initial suspension in March 2024, Pogba was given a four-year doping sentence. He was permitted to resume competition in March of this year after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) reduced his sentence to 18 months in October of last year.
In 2016, he rejoined United, where he played for six seasons, making 233 games and winning the League Cup and Europa League. The France international, who has 91 national caps, scored in his team's 4-2 triumph over Croatia and won the World Cup in 2018. Monaco, which finished third in Ligue 1 the previous season behind winners Paris St-Germain and Marseille, has now signed Pogba on a deal that ends on June 30, 2027.
