The president of the Football Federation of Nigeria, Ibrahim Gusau, revealed that the fans will decide the future of José Peseiro as coach of the national team through... the popular vote.
José Peseiro's contract ends on June 30 and Gusau said the NFF (Nigerian Football Federation) would organize a special poll for supporters to decide whether the 63-year-old coach, who won four and lost five games in charge of the Super Eagles , stay or leave.
"We intend to take the vote decision to Nigerians to hear their views and thoughts," Gusau told a Nigerian radio program on Saturday.
"We tried the foreign coaches and also the local coaches. Maybe we didn't choose the right person. We will ask the public if we should continue with Peseiro or if he should leave", he said.
The survey will be carried out by telephone, through paid calls.
