PSG star Dembele set to miss between six and eight weeks due to injury

PSG winger Ousmane Dembele will be out of action for between six and eight weeks due to a muscle injury sustained while on international duty with France.

The international break in September has been devastating for Paris Saint-Germain in terms of injuries. The Parc des Princes side has lost two of its big stars, Desire Doue and Ousmane Dembele, to injury while with France.

In fact, the Parisian team issued an angry statement against the FFF, calling for better medical and sporting coordination between clubs and the national team. Desire Doue will miss up to four weeks, including the Champions League opener against Atalanta, although the situation for the former Barcelona player is even worse.

Despite the bad news for the French winger, he has at least received some good news after it was confirmed that he has won the Onze D'OR award, ahead of Lamine Yamal and Kylian Mbappe.
