Rangers coach hopes to find a strong Braga in the quarter-finals

Rangers coach Giovanni van Bronckhorst hopes to find “a strong team” when he faces Sporting de Braga in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, promising to “work hard” to advance in the competition.

“It's a strong team. Portuguese clubs are always difficult opponents. We will prepare well for this tie and work hard to qualify for the next round”, said the Dutch coach.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst expressed himself as “expectant” for the confrontation with the Portuguese team, which is not unknown to the Dutch coach: “They were in the same group as Estrela Vermelha, so we have already watched the games in which they faced each other”, he explained.

The Scottish champions eliminated Estrela Vermelha in the round of 16, who won Group F of the first stage of the competition, with one more point than Braga, who were defeated 2-1 in Belgrade and drew 1-1 at home to the team.
