In the last few weeks of the summer transfer window, Real Madrid will drastically reduce their asking price for Rodrygo, an Arsenal target. In the latter part of last season, there was a lot of speculation about the Brazilian international's future. The winger's lack of playing time has fueled rumors that Real Madrid might cash in before the end of the month, despite indications that he is open to continuing with the team. Rodrygo played 92 minutes overall for Real Madrid at the Club World Cup, starting just one of the team's six games.
The winger was once again an unutilized substitute as Los Blancos defeated Osasuna 1-0 on Tuesday night to start their La Liga campaign. Although the Gunners have added Viktor Gyokeres and Noni Madueke to their attacking lineup, they are still looking to add a left winger.
