Real Madrid resisted Marega and Vietto and became world champion

Real Madrid reinforced, on Saturday, their status as the dominant force in the Club World Cup, by winning the fifth title in the history of the competition, thanks to the triumph achieved over Al Hilal, at the Prince Moulay Abdellah stadium, in Rabat, by 5- 3.

Vinícius Júnior broke the tie in the Moroccan capital, in the 13th minute, and, just five minutes later, it was Federico Valverde's turn to do the same. Even before the whistle for the break, former FC Porto Moussa Marega scored, and reopened the fight for the result.

However, the night really belonged to the Spanish team, which, in the second half, made the party through Karim Benzema, Federico Valverde and Vinícius Júnior. The 'timid' response from the Saudi emblem belonged to former Sporting player Luciano Vietto, who scored twice.

Real Madrid regained, in this way, the title that had eluded them since 2018.
