Brazilian former player Roberto Carlos, is considered among the best players in history, at least in his position which is a defensive one. But this doesn't seem to be enough for president Florentino Perez to give Roberto Carlos a job as a coach, regardless of how much studying he's done looking at the managers fro all categories in youth football inside the club.
But Roberto Carlos is still invested on getting a job as a manager for any category with the main goal of someday training Los Blancos' first team. But for now, Florentino has politely rejected his petition and told him that his role as an ambassador is more important for Real Madrid for the time being. Meanwhile, Roberto Carlos gives his opinion on all topics, including the next Ballon d'Or.
Roberto Carlos told the press that: "I think Cristiano Ronaldo already has the Ballon d'Or at home but he just has not told anyone yet. He has taken time to get back to being himself after the knee injury, but from now on he will show us all the Cristiano we all know, just like he played for Portugal. I wish him all the luck in the world."
