The 24-year-old has yet to make an appearance for the Blues this season due to his decline in Mauricio Pochettino's hierarchy and a hamstring ailment. Chalobah has not replaced Thiago Silva in Pochettino's plans, while Levi Colwill and Axel Disasi have also established themselves as first team regulars.
As Bayern Munich is eager to sign the Blues academy graduate, Chalobah is thus likely to depart Chelsea in the upcoming transfer window. However, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Italian team Roma is also preparing a January offer for Chalobah, giving the German champions some competition. Roma and Chelsea have already done business this year; in the summer, Mourinho signed Romelu Lukaku on a season-long loan. Seven goals have been scored by Lukaku in his first eight outings since moving to Rome.
