Ropapa Mensah delighted after scoring winning goal for Nashville SC

Nashville SC defeated North Carolina by a lone goal at the VenueFirst Tennessee Park (Nashville, Tennessee) in front of some 9,000 fans, Ropapa Mensah was at it again.

The moment of glory came at the death, on the final kick of the game, as substitute Ropapa took the ball off the head of Bradley Bourgeois into the back of net to win the game.

Ropapa came on in the 68th minute for Brandon Allen, before grabbing his heroic goal for the team.

It was Ropapa Mensah’s 4th goal in USL play and 5th overall this season to lead the team.

Ropapa Mensah – “I have scored a lot of goals, but this is the best goal of my life. Stepping up for my team feels so good.”

Nashville will play in the midweek with a 5th round U.S. Open Cup tie at Louisville. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
